Dent Revolution Paintless Dent Removal Training History:
Dent Revolution Paintless Dent Removal Training uses a new and improved process for learning Paintless Dent Repair. This methodology is called PRP (Pressure Release Process). This, philosophy, if you will, cuts a Paintless Dent Removal Trainee's learning curve down to the absolute minimum time frame that is possible in modern-day Paintless Dent Removal Training techniques.
The PRP process for Paintless Dent Repair was conceptualized by me, Keith De Paul, the owner of Dent Revolution Paintless Dent Removal Training and Master Tech/Trainer. Back in 1997, It came to me when I started hammering down, not only crowns, first, but also, other areas that I saw to improve the speed and quality of the repair. This intrigued my analytical mind in that I thought for sure that the PDR Industry, and the way I was taught, surely HAD MISSED SOMETHING! I then proceeded to analyze and break down every element of PDR and convert the elements, with new terminology, in this new way of thinking (philosophy) of performing Paintless Dent Repair. My results were very impressive to me.
Also, at this time (1997), I was engaging in training my first student, professionally. I discovered a “conundrum”, if you will, in that there was a difficulty in disseminating my knowledge and skill sets to “a student”. There were a few gaps, still to be filled in to perfect, what I thought to be the greatest break-through in years in the Paintless Dent Repair Industry.
It was 2002 on a car lot, when I was performing Paintless Dent Repair on a quarter-panel and as I was hammering on the crown, my ear kept getting blasted with air from the access point I was using, Then it came to me. The final gap was then filled in. PDR was actually about WAVE ENERGY and how it dissipates through a panel with varying levels of surface tension. It was this break-through that put together the entire puzzle and allowed a smooth transition and “packaging” of not only Paintless Dent Removal, but also, Paintless Dent Removal Training, all wrapped into one clean way of thinking (philosophy).
